Mervyn was married to Margaret Quinn, he had 1 sister , 1 brother and had 9 children between them , 24 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren
passed after long illness.
From the 20th of August 2009, Mervyn was reunited with his beloved Wife Maraget Quinn, May the rest eternally in Heavens abode together.

Mervyn to me was my grampa and when i saw him he was always trying to make you smile , always there to listen to what you had to say .. and although we didnt see much of him over the last 15 years he always ment alot ,the memories we have and hold shall never leave my heart
You can shed tears that he is gone.
Or you can smile because he lived.
You can close your eyes and pray that he will come back.
Or you can open your eyes and see all that he has left.
Your heart can be empty because you can't see him.
Or you can be full of the love that you shared,
You can turn your back on tomorrow and live for yesterday,
Or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday.
You can remember him and only that he is gone.
Or you can cherish his memory and let it live on,
You can cry, close your mind, be empty, and turn your back.
Or you can do what he would have wanted, smile, open your eyes, love and move on.
If tears could build a stairwell
and memories were a lane,
I would walk right up to Heaven
and bring u home again.
No farewell words were spoken,

dad is a word we all assosiate with children well this child is lost without you and mum .theres nothing i wouldent do to have you both back ,but thats not to be i suppose , dad is top of the family well ours is falling apart i think because the head of the family is no longer with us .dad is the taxi you no what i meen dad is the bank, but our bank is closed indefinet .dad you diserve your rest but not the way it was ,if an angel had you by the hand shed bring you back to us , but we know thats not to be but you can bring mum anytime and vissit well have a coffee . dad is what you were to me and dad is what i am to mine you showed me the way ,and now i;ll show you thanks for your help dad i love you and mum and will always xxx
hi dad a couple of hickups but ill sort them it would be easy'er if you were here to talk to but that cant be anymore having a hard time at the moment but you know me i wont give in till its sorted love you and missing you loads merv
